The autoclave is used for steam curing of cakes in the AAC production line so that the blocks or panels can obtain enough strength. It is one of the core pieces of equipment in the autoclaving section and is used after cutting to complete the hydrothermal reaction stage before finished products are formed.
In the AAC production line, the cut cake enters the autoclave to complete the hydrothermal reaction of CaO-SiO2-H2O. The process includes four stages: vacuuming, heating, constant temperature, and cooling. After this autoclaving cycle, AAC blocks or panels are produced. The cycle is around 10–11 hours, and different autoclave sizes are provided according to customer capacity and land layout.
The cut cake is placed into the autoclave and passes through vacuuming, heating, constant temperature, and cooling. Through this steam-curing process, the cake completes the hydrothermal reaction and is converted into AAC blocks or panels with the required strength.
