On June 18, 2019, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the"Technical Standards for Prefabricated Steel Structure in Residential Buildings" (JGJT469-2019), which officially opened the curtain of the development of steel structure prefabricated building in the housing industry, in which it clearly stipulates the external walls enclosure system can choose the "prefabricated light strip panel exterior wall system", and the internal partition wall should choose the "light partition wall meeting the requirements of fire prevention and sound insulation." In Article 1 of the "Main Points of Work in 2019 of the Construction Market Supervision Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development clearly proposes to carry out pilot projects for prefabricated houses with steel structure and promote the establishment of a mature construction system for steel structure prefabricated housing.
