Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Corp., Ltd. has signed an agreement with PT JAYA BLOK NUSANTARA, a building materials manufacturer based in Surabaya, Indonesia, for the upgrade of an AAC production line with an annual capacity of 600,000 m³. The project will convert the existing tilting-type line to a flip-type line, improving production efficiency through equipment and process upgrades and establishing a demonstration project for this type of conversion in Indonesia.

Four Projects, One Lasting Partnership

Located in Surabaya, PT JAYA BLOK NUSANTARA is an established Indonesian company with Chinese roots and a strong local presence.

Following previous collaborations on the ALFA, SBI and Chuangxin projects, this agreement marks the fourth partnership between the two companies. The repeat collaboration reflects the customer’s trust in Teeyer’s equipment, technical solutions and project services, as well as Teeyer’s continued commitment to the Indonesian AAC market.

Upgrading from Tilting-Type to Flip-Type Production

The project will upgrade the customer’s existing production line to a flip-type system, targeting an annual capacity of 600,000 m³.

Beyond equipment replacement, a successful retrofit requires careful integration of the new process with existing plant conditions. Teeyer will develop tailored equipment and process solutions based on the project’s specific requirements, supporting the production line upgrade and subsequent operations.

A Demonstration Project for AAC Line Modernization in Indonesia

As the AAC industry evolves, upgrading existing plants to increase capacity and optimize production processes is becoming increasingly important. Compared with building a new factory, a retrofit must also address existing building conditions, process integration, equipment layout and long-term operational requirements.

With its 600,000 m³ annual capacity target, the Surabaya project offers a practical reference for similar plants in Indonesia exploring the transition from tilting-type to flip-type production.

From ALFA, SBI and Chuangxin to PT JAYA BLOK NUSANTARA, four collaborations reflect the trust built between Teeyer and its Indonesian partners.

Looking ahead, Teeyer will continue to develop tailored AAC production and retrofit solutions based on customer needs, helping manufacturers worldwide improve operational efficiency and pursue sustainable growth.
