The tongue and groove milling device is used in the AAC cutting section for profile processing after the main cutting sequence. It can be used for both AAC block and panel production and is especially necessary and critical in panel production.
In the AAC production line, the cutting cart carries the side plate and cake into the tongue-and-groove area for two-side cutting, followed by profile formation using milling knives. The device is PLC controlled, and the knives can be changed according to panel type. A second milling station can be used to process grooves about 1–3 mm deep depending on brittleness and surface shape.
After the main cutting sequence, the side plate and cake are moved into the tongue-and-groove area. Milling knives process the required profile on both sides, and additional groove processing can be arranged in the second milling station when needed.
This device is used in AAC block and panel production lines that require profile machining after the main cutting process. It is especially suitable for AAC panel production where tongue-and-groove milling is an important product feature.
