Following the successful commissioning of Megaton's first AAC plant in 2025, Teeyer and Megaton are taking their partnership to the next level.

Recently, Teeyer officially signed an agreement with Uzbekistan-based Megaton for the construction of a second AAC production line, further strengthening the long-term cooperation between the two companies.

New Samarkand Project Supports Belt and Road Industrial Development

Teeyer and Megaton have officially signed an agreement for their second AAC production line. Located in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the new project will feature a modern AAC production line with a daily capacity of 2,000 m³. The facility will utilize 6 × 1.5-meter large-format green cakes and incorporate Teeyer's newly developed Dual-direction Green Separator, with commercial operation scheduled for March 2027.

As Uzbekistan's second-largest city with a history spanning over 2,500 years, Samarkand was once a vital hub along the ancient Silk Road. Today, under the continued advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, it is becoming an increasingly important pivot for connectivity and industrial cooperation between China and Central Asia.

The project not only represents an important step in Megaton's strategy to expand its market presence and strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, but will also inject new momentum into the development of the green building materials industry across Central Asia.

EPC Delivery with Next-Generation Smart Manufacturing Technologies

The project will be delivered by Teeyer under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) model, providing integrated services covering engineering, equipment supply, installation, commissioning, and start-up support.

It will also incorporate Teeyer's next-generation intelligent manufacturing technologies to further improve automation, production efficiency, and operational reliability.

Upon completion, the project will become one of the largest standalone AAC production plants in Central Asia, serving as an important demonstration project for the international application of Chinese AAC equipment, technologies, and engineering services.

A Landmark Project That Laid the Foundation for Long-Term Cooperation

The partnership between Teeyer and Megaton began in 2024, when Megaton conducted a comprehensive evaluation of global AAC equipment manufacturers. Following a thorough assessment, the company selected Teeyer to build its first modern AAC production plant in Namangan Region, Uzbekistan.

The plant was successfully commissioned in 2025.

Located in Chust District, Namangan Region, in the heart of the Fergana Valley, the facility covers approximately 80,000 square meters and has an annual production capacity of 500,000 m³. Through the joint efforts of both companies, the project was completed in just 10 months and is equipped with Teeyer's latest intelligent cutting system and full-line servo system.

Since commissioning, the production line has operated reliably while continuously improving production efficiency, becoming a benchmark modern AAC production facility in Uzbekistan.

The plant also received a visit from the President of Uzbekistan, further highlighting its role as a demonstration project supporting the development of sustainable building materials in the country.

As a result, the Samarkand project will incorporate several of Teeyer's latest developments, including its newly developed Dual-direction Green Separator and Dry Material Conveying System for the Cutting Line.

Green cake separation is a key process in AAC production, directly influencing production efficiency, and downstream packaging and handling. As the industry moves toward larger green cake formats and higher production capacities, conventional separation methods are facing increasing technical challenges.

Compatible with 6 × 1.5 m large-format green cakes, the system optimizes the separation process to deliver greater stability, higher precision, and improved operating efficiency. It also enhances product consistency, reduces manual intervention, and increases the overall level of production automation, helping customers improve overall operational performance.

The adoption of this technology by Megaton demonstrates the customer's confidence in Teeyer's R&D capabilities and marks a significant milestone for the practical application of this technology in the international market.

From the first production line to the second, and from equipment supply to full EPC delivery, the partnership between Teeyer and Megaton continues to reach new heights.
